Inclusive access

Accessibility statement

The Sedalia Area Tourism Commission is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible.

Our accessibility target

This website was designed and tested with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its technical target. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, and this statement is not a legal certification.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, and form controls
  • A visible-on-focus link to skip repeated navigation
  • Keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus indicators
  • Text and controls with contrast-conscious colors
  • Layouts that reflow on small screens and at high zoom
  • Underlined inline links that do not rely on color alone
  • Form labels, instructions, input purposes, and announced status messages
  • Support for reduced-motion and Windows high-contrast preferences
  • A print-friendly application worksheet

Feedback and assistance

If you experience an accessibility barrier, need information in another format, or need help completing a task, contact the Commission. Please describe the page or feature involved and the format or accommodation you need.

Assessment approach

The site is reviewed using automated accessibility checks, HTML validation, keyboard-only navigation, zoom and reflow testing, and visual checks at desktop and mobile sizes. Automated tools cannot identify every barrier, so human review remains important.
